#1 - Understand that nothing worth having is just handed to you . You must earn it. That means someone’s trust, respect, dedication and love.
#2 - Believe that being a constant student of life is critical to your success.
#3 - Read books on
positive thinking, goal setting
, and understanding yourself and others
better.
#4 - Get up early to get a jump start on your day.
#5 - Understand that to be successful at what your do, you have to establish written goals and an action plan.
#6 - Have your income performance based. (It will keep you honest – with yourself!)
#7 - Work on becoming a good teacher. When I teach someone something it makes the information I’m teaching second nature.
#8 - Be a proactive person. A proactive person’s behavior comes from their own decisions which stem from their values. (Steven Covey talks about this.)
#9 - Always tell the truth. You never have to remember the truth.
#10 - Don’t point fingers at others. Someone once told me to remember that when you point a finger at someone else there are three fingers pointing back at you.
